How does freezing affect the days left?

The logic of a membership freeze is simple: however many days the membership is frozen, the end date is pushed forward by that many days. For example, a membership ending on June 30 that is frozen for 15 days now ends on July 15. The days left is the number of days from today to the new end date. This tool does this calculation for you; however, each business's freeze policy (annual maximum freeze days, minimum membership length, etc.) may differ, so keep your own rules in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a freeze change the end date?

The end date is moved forward by the number of days the membership was frozen. This way the member recovers the days they couldn't use, and the total membership length is preserved.

Are frozen days deducted from the remaining time?

No. On the contrary, frozen days are added to the end date; the membership length isn't shortened, it's shifted. Days left are recalculated based on the new end date.

How do I calculate the days left?

Days left = new end date − today's date. This tool automatically finds the new end date and the days left from today, accounting for the freeze.

Does Piyzi track memberships and freezes automatically?
