PIYZI COOKIE POLICY
This is a courtesy translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version of this document prevails.
Introduction
This Cookie Policy has been prepared to inform users about the cookies used on the website and applications operated by Piyzi Technology Inc. (Piyzi Teknoloji A.S.).

2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They are used to improve user experience and ensure the platform functions properly.
3. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
3.1. Essential Cookies & Local Storage (No Consent Required)
Required for the platform to function, for session management and security; therefore no explicit consent is sought. On our site, session information is kept in your browser's local storage rather than cookies (e.g. customer login tokens). This data stays only on your device and is necessary to provide the service.
When you sign in to the business panel, a random device identifier is also stored in local storage for account security and misuse prevention. Only Piyzi can read this identifier; it is never used for advertising or tracking and is never shared with third parties. See section 4.1 of the KVKK Data Protection Notice.
3.2. Analytics Cookies (With Your Consent)
Used to measure how visitors use the site, anonymously. We use Google Analytics 4.

These cookies are activated only with your consent. If you do not consent, Google Analytics — under Google Consent Mode v2 — collects no data beyond cookieless (anonymous/aggregated) measurement.
Acquisition source (pz_attr): With your consent we store in your browser where your first and last visit to the site came from: the campaign tags in the link (UTM), the ad click ID, only the domain name of the referring site, the first page you opened and the date. No name, phone number or e-mail is stored. If you sign up or send the demo or contact form, this information is added to your account or application. Without consent nothing is stored; only the source of your current visit is added to the sign-up link and to the form you send. When you withdraw consent, this record is deleted. See section 4.3 of the KVKK Data Protection Notice for details.
3.3. Ad Measurement Cookies
Ad lead pages (piyzi.com/quiz/...): On the application pages you reach from our Instagram and Facebook ads, we use Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. to measure the results of our ads. Instead of a consent banner, these pages show the following notice at the bottom: "We would like to use cookies to measure the results of our ads. By continuing, you are deemed to accept cookies." (shown in Turkish). Meta Pixel does not load when the page opens; it loads on your first interaction with the page (a tap, scroll or key press).

Meta Pixel reports to Meta that the page was opened, that the application was started, which steps were completed and that the application was submitted, together with the codes of the answers you chose (business type, team size, priority). These reports do not contain your name or phone number. Meta may also use cookies it has previously set on its own domain (facebook.com) for this measurement; those cookies are subject to Meta's own cookie policy. For the application report sent to Meta after you submit the form, see section 4.2 of the KVKK Data Protection Notice.
If you do not want this measurement, you can stop using the page, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Other pages of the site: No advertising cookies are used on the main site. If they are used in the future, they will be activated only with your explicit consent; if you do not consent, advertising cookies will not run.
3.4. Third-Party Embedded Content
The Google Maps embed on our Contact page loads only when you click "Show map"; until then, Google does not set cookies.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can set your preferences via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit:
- Accept all — allows analytics (and advertising, if any) cookies,
- Reject — only essential cookies are used,
- Manage preferences — choose per category.
You can update your preferences at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may cause some features to stop working.
No consent banner is shown on the ad lead pages; how cookies are used there and how you can exercise your choice is explained in section 3.3.
5. Third-Party Cookies
On the main site, Google Analytics cookies (for analytics) are used when you consent. On the ad lead pages, Meta Pixel runs as described in section 3.3. These cookies are subject to the respective provider's own privacy/cookie policies. No other tracking tools such as Hotjar are used.
6. Data Security
Data collected through cookies is processed and protected in compliance with KVKK (Turkey's data protection law). This data is not sold; it is shared only with the providers named in this policy (Google, Meta) and only for the purposes stated here.
7. Updates
Piyzi reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy as needed. The updated policy takes effect on the date of publication.
