What a sales card is, how it is created and how to use the list

A sales card is the account card that collects a customer's services and products for the day. It is created automatically when an appointment is opened; you track debt and status from the list.

A sales card is the account card that collects a customer's services and products at your business. Service lines, product sales, discounts and payments come together on this card; your payment tracking runs from here.

How is a sales card created?

  • Automatically (the main route): when you create an appointment, the system looks for that customer's open sales card for the same day; if there is one it adds the appointment to it, if not it opens a new sales card.

  • Manually: for a customer who arrives without an appointment, or for a direct product sale, you use the "New Sales Card" button on the Sales Cards page.

Table columns

  • Date: the day and time the sales card was opened.

  • Customer: name, phone and tags if there are any.

  • Staff: the staff member who opened the sales card or delivered the service.

  • Services: the services and products on the sales card.

  • Total: the grand total after the discount.

  • Paid: the amount collected so far.

  • Remaining: the outstanding debt. If there is no debt a green "Paid" badge appears in this column, otherwise an "In Debt" badge.

  • Status: the operational status of the sales card (Undefined, Pending, Arrived, Completed, Cancelled, No-show).

Quick filters

  • Debtors: sales cards whose payment is not complete.

  • Today: sales cards opened today.

  • Currently In: customers whose service is still in progress and who are still at the business.

Advanced filters

Filters opens the following options: Date Range (All, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, This Week, This Month, Last Month, Last 3 Months, Custom), Status (multi-select), Sorting (Newest, Oldest, Highest Amount, Most Debt), Debt Status (All, Debtors, No Debt) and a Min/Max Amount range.

When you close the till at the end of the day, use the "Debtors" quick filter: you see every sales card that was not collected that day in a single list and can complete the payments.

Clicking anywhere on a row opens the sales card's own page.
