Building nutrition and workout programmes

Create programme templates, manage your food and exercise databases, assign programmes to customers, publish them and share them by SMS, link or PDF.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

To use this module, the Diet & Fitness Program card must be enabled in the Pi Store. Once it is, Programs (Program Templates, Program Assignments) appears in the left menu and a Programs tab appears on the customer card, listing the programmes assigned to that customer.

Databases

The Food Database and Exercise Library buttons on the Program Templates page open the two databases; add your own records with New Food and New Exercise.

  • Food Database: you define the food name, category, default portion and portion unit, together with values such as calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre and sugar.

  • Exercise Library: you enter the exercise name, the muscle group it works, the supporting muscles, the equipment, the difficulty level and a description.

Piyzi ships with a ready-made system library in both databases: more than 550 foods (with a strong focus on Turkish cuisine — soups, main dishes, dairy, fruit and vegetables, beverages, sports nutrition) and 400 exercises (organised by muscle group, including warm-up, stretching and mobility movements). You can start writing programmes right away without entering data from scratch.

The ready-made records that ship with the system carry a "System" label and cannot be edited; records you add yourself are marked with a "Custom" label and can be edited and deleted.

Creating a programme template

The New Template button on the Program Templates page opens the New Program Template window. Choose the Program Type (Nutrition or Workout) and the Plan Type (Daily or Weekly), enter the Template Title (required) and, if you like, a Description and Tags. The interface changes according to the type you choose:

  • Nutrition: enter the daily calorie, protein, carbohydrate, fat and water targets in the Goals section. A daily plan has a single day; a weekly plan has seven days, Monday to Sunday. Add meals to each day with Add Meal (Breakfast, Lunch and so on) and add foods with their amount and unit using Add Food; the system calculates the day's totals instantly from the foods you pick. You can write restrictions and supplement notes in the Restrictions & Supplements section.

  • Workout: first create a day with Add the First Day (Add a Training Day for the following ones) and give it a Day Label. Use Add Exercise to search the library, or type the name under Free Entry; enter the sets, repetitions, duration, rest, weight, tempo and a note. Switch Cardio to Active to add a cardio type, duration and intensity, and use General Notes for things like warm-up and cool-down.

Finish with Save Template. The three-dot menu on a template row offers Edit, Copy (the new title can be left empty), Archive or Activate, and Delete. An archived template cannot be chosen for a new assignment.

Assigning a programme to a customer

The Assign New Program button on the Program Assignments page opens the assignment window. There are two ways at the top of the window:

  • Create from a Template: search for the template under Select Template. The programme's type and plan type come from the template; the Program Title is filled in with the template's name, and you can change it.

  • Create from Scratch: choose the Program Type (Nutrition Program or Exercise Program) and the Plan Type (Daily or Weekly) and build the content in the same window.

Then choose the Customer by typing at least 2 characters. The Program Title and Start Date are required (the start date is today by default); the End Date is optional. Save with Create Program; the programme is created as a Draft and added to the Program Assignments list.

There is no day selection in the assignment window. In a nutrition programme the days come from the plan type (Daily: a single day; Weekly: Monday to Sunday); in a workout programme you add the days yourself in the template or in the content editor.

The text you write in the Notes field appears under the “Program Notu” (programme note) heading on the programme page the customer opens from the link; do not write internal notes there.

A programme created from a template is a copy of the template at that moment: changing the programme does not change the template, and changing the template does not change programmes already assigned.

Publishing and sharing

  1. 1
    Publish it

A new programme is a Draft and is not visible to the customer. Open it with Details in the list, click Publish and confirm the Publish Program question. Only draft programmes can be published.

  2. 2
    Share it

A published programme's Share menu has three options: Send by SMS, Copy Link and Download PDF. A customer who has the link can view the programme without signing in.

  • Send by SMS: goes out straight away, without a confirmation. The SMS is sent from the Verimor account your business connected in the Pi Store, with your SMS sender name and your own credit; the customer record must have a phone number. The message contains a short link to the programme. If the customer has no phone number or your Verimor connection is missing, the screen only shows a general warning that the programme could not be shared; check both in that case. “The program was shared via SMS.” means the SMS was handed over for sending; this screen does not show whether it reached the customer.

  • Copy Link: the programme's address is copied to your clipboard; it is the programme page on your business's piyzi.com subdomain. You can also get the same link with the copy icon in the Sharing column of the Program Assignments list.

  • Download PDF: the programme's PDF is downloaded to your computer, ready to print or send yourself.

The Sharing History table below the programme shows each share's Date and Method: SMS, PDF, or Link when the link was shared from the mobile app. Copy Link on the web is not recorded there. An SMS attempt that could not be sent may still appear in the history as SMS.

After publishing

  • You can still change a published programme with Edit; the change appears on the customer's link straight away. In a nutrition programme, changing the plan type clears the current day contents; if there is content, the window asks you first.

  • A programme does not close by itself when its end date passes: it stays Published in the list and its link stays open. The Expired and Archive options in the status filter list no programmes.

  • Remove a programme the customer should no longer see with Delete on its detail page; the link of a deleted programme stops working too. Deleting cannot be undone.

  • The customer also sees their published programmes on your business website under Hesabım → Programlarım (My account → My programmes) and in the Piyzi mobile app; drafts are not shown.

Save the plans you use often as templates; for a similar plan, duplicate the template with Copy in the list and make small changes.

Permissions

You grant permissions in My Business → Settings → Roles & Permissions (the permission names are shown in Turkish on the role screen):

  • “Can view programmes” (“Programları görüntüleyebilir”): seeing the Programs menu, templates and assignments, and downloading PDFs. This permission is needed to open the menu.

  • “Can list programme templates” (“Program şablonlarını listeleyebilir”): seeing the template list.

  • “Can create programme templates”, “Can edit programme templates” and “Can delete programme templates” (“Program şablonu oluşturabilir”, “Program şablonu düzenleyebilir”, “Program şablonu silebilir”): template actions (Copy needs the create permission, Archive the edit permission).

  • “Can assign programmes to customers” (“Müşteriye program atayabilir”): Assign New Program.

  • “Can edit customer programmes” (“Müşteri programını düzenleyebilir”): editing, publishing and sharing a programme.

  • “Can delete customer programmes” (“Müşteri programını silebilir”): deleting a programme.

  • “Can manage the food database” and “Can manage the exercise database” (“Beslenme veritabanını yönetebilir”, “Egzersiz veritabanını yönetebilir”): adding, editing and deleting your own food and exercise records.

The built-in “Personel” (Staff) role can view, assign, edit, publish and share, but cannot manage templates or the databases, or delete. On the web the buttons are shown to everyone; when you try something your role does not allow, nothing is saved and a warning appears.
