When your customer clicks the Book Appointment button on your page, a six-step flow begins.
- 1Service
They pick the service they want. Price and duration are shown or hidden according to your settings.
- 2Staff
They choose among the staff members who can deliver that service.
- 3Date
Available days are listed based on your working hours, holidays and existing appointments.
- 4Time
They pick one of the free time slots for the selected day.
- 5Details
They enter first name, last name and phone number; ticking the privacy consent is mandatory.
- 6Confirmation
They confirm the booking by entering the six-digit code sent to their phone.
How does the appointment reach you?
If auto-approval is on: the appointment is created instantly and appears as confirmed on your calendar.
If auto-approval is off: the customer sees a "Your booking request has been received" message; the appointment appears on your calendar as pending and is not final until you approve it.
You change the auto-approval setting under Business → Appointment Settings. For busy businesses, working with approval reduces the risk of double booking.
Restrictions
If the "Only members with a package can book" setting is on, the customer must select an active package while booking.
With online booking rules (risk management) you can ask for a deposit from customers who have missed appointments before, or disable online booking for them.
Customers you have blacklisted or banned cannot book online.
Customers can also create an account from your page to view and cancel their appointments, and join your class schedule and events.
