Ödeal physical POS: connecting, collecting payments and removing

Connect your Ödeal POS device to Piyzi, send the services and products on a sales card to the device, and have the sales card complete automatically once the payment is taken.

Last updated: 4 Ağustos 2026

The Ödeal physical POS integration sends the services and products on a sales card to your Ödeal POS device. When the payment is taken on the device, the sales card is completed automatically in Piyzi and the payment is recorded with the Ödeal POS payment method. Connecting and collecting are done in the web panel only.

Prerequisites

  • A Piyzi account with an active subscription.

  • Pi Store edit permission, or being the workspace owner. Sending a sales card to the POS additionally requires the sales card edit permission.

  • A merchant account registered with Ödeal and a POS device that has been installed.

  • Public key, secret key and the POS device code — all three are issued by Ödeal.

Connecting

The Ödeal card in Pi Store offers two paths: I'm already an Ödeal merchant and New Ödeal application. The path that actually makes the integration work is the first one, where you connect with your own keys.

Connecting with your Ödeal keys

  1. In the left menu, open My Business → Pi Store.

  2. Under the Payment Methods heading, click the “Ödeal Physical POS” card.

  3. Switch to the “I'm already an Ödeal merchant” option.

  4. Enter the public key and the secret key you received from Ödeal.

  5. Enter the device code defined in the “My Devices” menu on the POS terminal.

  6. Click “Connect”. Piyzi verifies the keys and the device code with Ödeal straight away; if they are valid the integration becomes active.

The keys are issued by Ödeal only; Piyzi does not generate them. If you do not have them, contact Ödeal and ask for the device integration (D2D) keys of your merchant account.

  • Once connected, a system-managed “Ödeal POS” method is added to your payment methods; it cannot be edited or deleted.

  • Piyzi's addresses for payment result notifications (callbacks) are registered with Ödeal automatically.

  • No new Ödeal application is created; your existing merchant account is used as it is.

If you are not an Ödeal merchant yet: applying

The New Ödeal application tab on the card is an application form, not a connection step. When you submit it, your business, authorized person and address details are sent to Ödeal; you can also upload documents such as an ID, a signature circular or a tax certificate.

  • After you apply, the status shows “Your application is under review”; the “Refresh Status” button pulls the current status from Ödeal.

  • Ödeal may contact you for additional documents during this period.

  • You can remove an application that has not been approved with “Cancel Application”.

  • After approval, opening your merchant account and installing the POS device are handled by Ödeal.

When the application is approved the integration does not become able to take payments on its own. To send a sales card, your merchant account's public key and secret key must be stored in Piyzi, and those keys are stored only through the “I'm already an Ödeal merchant” path. Once approval comes through, get your keys from Ödeal and complete the connection that way. While the keys are missing, sending a sales card to the POS returns an “invalid Ödeal credentials” error.

Sending a sales card to the POS

  1. Open the sales card detail.

  2. Among the actions at the top, click “Send to Ödeal POS”. This button appears on every sales card that is not completed.

  3. The lines on the sales card are pushed to the device and an “Awaiting POS payment” dialog opens.

  4. Complete the payment on the device. You choose the payment type (cash, card, meal card) on the device and the receipt reflects the actual type.

  5. When the result arrives, the waiting dialog closes and the sales card is refreshed.

  • The amount sent is the remaining balance of the sales card. If the remaining balance equals the total of the lines, services and products are sent line by line with their VAT rates; for a partial collection a single “Remaining Amount” line is sent.

  • Services on cancelled and no-show appointments, and services covered by a package, are not included in the basket.

  • Line discounts and the general discount are reflected in the line amounts.

  • If the sales card's customer has invoice details (a company title/tax number or an individual national ID number), they are added to the basket; otherwise the sale goes through as a final consumer. The e-document is issued on Ödeal's side; Piyzi does not store it.

  • If you send the same sales card again, the previous unpaid basket on the device is deleted first, so there is no risk of collecting twice.

  • Sending is blocked if there is nothing left to collect or the sales card is already completed.

The payment result

  • Payment received: the sales card is completed, the payment is recorded with the “Ödeal POS” method, linked appointments are marked completed (except cancelled and no-show ones), package credits are deducted and the completion automations run.

  • Payment failed: the sales card stays open; you can send it again.

  • Payment cancelled: the transaction was cancelled on the device and the sales card stays open.

  • Payment still pending: no result arrived within five minutes. If the payment is completed on the device, the sales card is updated on its own later.

  • If you close the waiting dialog: tracking stops but the transaction is not cancelled; a payment completed on the device is still applied to the sales card.

Removing the connection

  1. Open My Business → Pi Store.

  2. Click the Ödeal Physical POS card.

  3. Click “Disconnect” and confirm.

  • The stored keys and the device code are deleted from Piyzi; sales cards can no longer be sent to the POS.

  • The system-managed “Ödeal POS” payment method is removed as well. Past payments recorded with it stay on their sales cards.

  • If you have an application that has not been approved, it is cancelled at Ödeal too.

  • Your Ödeal merchant account and POS device remain with Ödeal; closing those is arranged with Ödeal.

  • You can reconnect at any time by following the same steps.

Troubleshooting

  • “The Ödeal credentials are invalid”: the merchant account's public key and secret key are not stored. Connect through the “I'm already an Ödeal merchant” path with your keys.

  • “The device code wasn't found at Ödeal”: copy the device code exactly as it appears in the “My Devices” menu on the POS terminal, and make sure the keys belong to the same merchant account as that device.

  • “You must create an Ödeal POS application first”: the integration is not connected, or the device code is empty. The send button is shown even without a connection, so this error appears at the moment you send.

  • The payment was taken but the sales card did not close: completing the sales card depends on Ödeal delivering the payment notification (callback) to Piyzi. If the notification addresses are not registered or cannot be reached, the waiting dialog times out and the sales card stays open. Use the “Refresh callbacks” button on the card to re-send the addresses to Ödeal, then try the payment again.

  • The payment method cannot be deleted from the list: the “Ödeal POS” method is managed by the integration; it disappears on its own when you remove the connection.

  • The amount is lower than you expected: services covered by a package, cancelled/no-show appointments and discounts reduce the amount; the value sent is the remaining balance.

The public key and the secret key are the access credentials of your Ödeal account. If you regenerate them at Ödeal, the connection in Piyzi stops working; reconnect from Pi Store with the new keys. Never share your keys with anyone.
