Zoom integration: connecting, using and removing
Connect your Zoom account so meetings are created automatically for online appointments and the join link reaches your customer. Removal steps are covered too.
Last updated: 3 Ağustos 2026
When the Zoom integration is connected, Piyzi automatically creates a Zoom meeting for every appointment you mark as online and shares the join link with your customer. If the appointment is rescheduled the meeting is updated; if it is cancelled the meeting is deleted.
Prerequisites
A Piyzi account with an active subscription.
Pi Store edit permission, or being the workspace owner.
A Zoom account that can create meetings. Free Zoom accounts work; the duration limit of the free plan is enforced by Zoom.
Meetings are created in the Zoom account you connect. Piyzi does not place its own account in between.
Adding the app
In the left menu, open My Business → Pi Store.
Under the Online Meeting heading, click the Zoom card.
In the dialog that opens, click “Connect with Zoom”.
Sign in to your Zoom account on Zoom’s authorization screen and approve the requested permissions.
When you return to Piyzi the Zoom card shows “Connected”.
If the authorization screen does not open, check your browser’s pop-up blocker.
Requested permissions
Create meetings: to set up the meeting when an online appointment is booked.
Update meetings: to change the time when the appointment is rescheduled.
Delete meetings: to remove the meeting when the appointment is cancelled.
Read account info: to resolve which Zoom account the meeting should be created in.
Meeting content, recordings and participant data are never accessed or stored.
Using the app
Create a new appointment.
Turn on the “Online Appointments” toggle.
Select Zoom under Meeting Platform. If only one platform is connected it is selected automatically.
Save the appointment — the Zoom meeting is created at this point.
The join link appears on the appointment detail and on the related sales card as a “Join Zoom” button.
The join link is included in the notification and reminder SMS sent to the customer.
If you reschedule, the meeting time is updated — no second meeting is created.
If you cancel, the meeting is deleted from Zoom.
For recurring appointments a single Zoom meeting is used for the series.
Removing the app
Open My Business → Pi Store.
Click the Zoom card.
Click “Disconnect Zoom”.
Piyzi revokes the authorization on Zoom’s side as well and deletes the stored access and refresh tokens.
No Zoom meetings are created for new appointments.
Meetings that were already created remain in your Zoom account; Piyzi no longer updates or deletes them.
Join links already sent to customers continue to work.
You can reconnect at any time by following the same steps.
You can also remove the app from Zoom: in your Zoom account go to Marketplace → Manage → Installed Apps → Piyzi → Remove. Zoom then notifies Piyzi and Piyzi deletes the stored tokens.
Troubleshooting
The card does not show “Connected”: a pop-up blocker may have interrupted the authorization; disable it and try again.
No join link was created: make sure the Online toggle is on and Zoom is selected as the meeting platform.
The link stopped working: if the Zoom account password changed or the app was removed on Zoom’s side, the authorization is dropped; reconnect.
The customer did not receive the link: check the SMS notification and reminder toggles on the appointment and the customer’s phone number.
Changing your Zoom account password or removing the app from Zoom drops the connection. If you have online appointments scheduled, remember to reconnect from Pi Store.
