Piyzi MCP Server: connect your business to your AI tool

Piyzi MCP Server opens your Piyzi reports to AI tools that support MCP (Model Context Protocol), such as Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected you can ask questions in plain language — “how are we doing this month”, “who owes us money”, “how much revenue did each staff member bring” — and the answers come from your own Piyzi data.

What it can and cannot reach

The connection is read-only. It can see seven reports:

• Business overview — appointments, sales, collections, customers and packages

• Cash register report — income, expense, net cash flow, payment method breakdown

• Customer report — debtors, off-rhythm and lost customers, filtering by reliability and spending

• Staff report — revenue and commission per person

• Product stock report — stock on hand, stock value, out-of-stock items

• Package sales report — packages sold, collected and outstanding amounts

• Acquisition channel report — where your customers come from

The connection is bound to your account and your business: the AI tool cannot go beyond the reports you are allowed to see in the panel. The overview needs the Özet ekranını görebilir (view the summary screen) permission in your role and the other six reports need Raporları görebilir (view reports); the business owner has all of them. If a permission is removed later, access closes at the same moment.

Requirements

• The report permissions above.

• An AI tool that can add an MCP server (custom connector); in Claude, a plan that includes adding connections.

• The Entegrasyonları görebilir (view integrations) permission in your role to open the Piyzi MCP Server window in Pi Store. Creating a key, seeing your connections and revoking them all happen in that window and need no extra permission; everyone sees only their own connections. Connecting by granting permission with your Piyzi account does not need this permission, but you need access to the window to revoke the connection from the panel.

What the window contains

On the My Business → Pi Store page, click the Piyzi MCP Server card under the Artificial Intelligence heading. From top to bottom the window contains:

• Available tools: the seven reports your AI tool can call.

• New connection: the field where you name a key-based connection, and the Create Connection button.

• Setup details: the Server address (https://api.piyzi.com/mcp) with a copy icon next to it.

• Your connections: a table of your open connections in this business: the connection name, Key (the first characters of the key), Last used (“Never used” if it has not been used) and Action (a bin icon to revoke). With no connections it reads “You have not created any connection yet.”

Two ways to connect

Use whichever your tool supports. Tools that only ask for a server address, such as Claude's custom connector screen, let you grant permission with your Piyzi account (option 1); no key is needed. Tools that let you enter a request header use the connection key (option 2). The note under the server address in the window, which says to “put your connection key in the authorization header”, applies to option 2.

Option 1: grant permission with your Piyzi account

   Copy the server address

   In the Setup details section of the Piyzi MCP Server window, copy the address on the Server address line with the icon next to it: https://api.piyzi.com/mcp.

   Add the connection in your tool

   In your AI tool (for example Claude), paste this address when adding a custom connector or MCP server. Do not enter a key.

   Grant permission in Piyzi

   Your tool sends you to Piyzi's Connection permission page. If you are not signed in to Piyzi, you sign in first and are then brought back to this page. The page lists what the connection can do. If you have several businesses, choose one under Which business are you granting access to? and press Allow. Reject returns to your tool without connecting.

   Return to your tool

   Once you allow it you are sent back to your tool and the connection is ready. Your password never reaches the tool.

• A connection made this way appears in the Your connections table of the Piyzi MCP Server window of the business you chose, under the tool's name (for example “Claude”); you revoke it from there.

• The connection is valid for 90 days. After that the tool can no longer reach Piyzi; set the connection up again in your tool and grant permission once more. An expired connection stays in the table; remove it with the bin icon.

Option 2: connect with a connection key

   Name the connection

   Type a name you will recognise in the New connection field (for example “My office computer”, at most 80 characters) and press Create Connection. With no name you see “Please give the connection a name.”

   Copy the key

   In the green Your connection key is ready box, take the key starting with pmcp_live_ with Copy and keep it somewhere safe. The key is shown only this once; after you close the window it cannot be displayed again.

   Enter it in your tool

   In your tool's MCP server settings, use https://api.piyzi.com/mcp as the address and add this request header: Authorization: Bearer <your connection key>.

• A key-based connection does not expire; it works until you revoke it.

• The key reaches the data of the business that was selected in the panel when you created it. For another business, switch to it and create a separate key.

• Once you have 10 open connections in the same business (connections made by granting permission count too), no new key can be created and you see “You have reached the maximum number of connections. Revoke an unused one first.”

A separate connection per device or tool

Creating a separate connection for your office computer, your laptop or different tools is recommended. If you lose one, you revoke only that connection and the others keep working.

Revoking a connection

   Open the window

   Open My Business → Pi Store → Piyzi MCP Server.

   Press the bin icon

   In the Your connections table, press the bin icon in the Action column of the connection you want to revoke.

   Confirm

   In the “Revoke this connection?” window, confirm with the button on the right; the button on the left closes the window without changing anything. Access stops immediately and the connection leaves the table.

Security

• The connection key is a password: whoever knows it sees the reports you can see. Do not share it in chat groups, shared documents or screenshots.

• The key is shown only when it is created; Piyzi stores only a one-way digest of it, so it cannot show it again. If you lose it, create a new connection.

• If you suspect a key or connection reached the wrong person, revoke it without waiting.

• Reports contain personal data such as customer names and amounts; only give the connection to tools you use yourself.

Troubleshooting

• The tool says it cannot connect: make sure you copied the server address in full; it must end with /mcp. If you use a key, check that the header starts with “Authorization: Bearer ” and that the key has not been revoked.

• A page says “This permission request is invalid or incomplete.”: the permission page only works with a connection started by your tool. Start the connection again from your tool.

• The connection stopped working after a while: a connection made by granting permission may have reached its 90-day limit, or the connection was revoked. Set it up again in your tool.

• You get a “no permission” answer: the matching report permission may be off. Ask your business owner for Özet ekranını görebilir (view the summary screen) for the overview, or Raporları görebilir (view reports) for the other reports; once enabled you do not need a new connection.

• Numbers differ from the panel: check the date range. “This month” runs from the first of the current month to today, “last month” covers the whole previous month; pick the same range in the panel and the numbers match exactly.

• I see three different “outstanding” figures: they measure different things and must not be added up. “Pending receivables” in the overview are payment records with a due date; “remaining amount” in the package sales report is the uncollected part of packages sold in that period; “total debt” in the customer report is the open balance of non-cancelled sales cards.

• Every staff member shows zero: revenue is counted only for transactions with an assigned staff member. If no one was selected on a package or product sale, the amount appears on no row — it does not mean the business had no revenue.

• Too many requests warning: each connection can make at most 120 requests a minute; asking many questions back to back hits this limit. Wait a minute and continue.

• Data from the wrong business: a connection is bound to the business you chose while granting permission, or to the business selected in the panel when you created the key. Set up a separate connection for the other business.
