Saving a customer list and starting an SMS campaign
Save the customer audience you filtered as a named list and hand it to the campaign creation page in one click.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
You can turn the filter combination you applied on the Customers page (for example "female customers born in October with no active package") into a reusable target audience. This needs the permission to manage SMS segments.
- 1Filter, then press Save List
Apply the filters you want and press the Save List button at the top right (it is disabled while the list is empty). The "Save Customer List" window loads every customer matching the filter, independent of pagination; at most 10,000 records are taken, and if there are more a warning says the first 10,000 are shown.
- 2Name the list and check the people in it
The List Name is required and the Description is optional. Under "Customers to Add to the List" everyone arrives selected — you can take people out one by one with the checkboxes, find someone with the "Search customers (name, phone, email)" box, and work in bulk with Select All / Deselect. The "N / M selected" counter shows how many are selected; at least one customer must be selected. Save with Save List at the bottom of the window.
- 3Decide about a campaign
After you save, the "Send an SMS?" question appears. Yes, Send SMS takes you to the campaign creation page with this list already selected, where you choose the channel (SMS, WhatsApp or App Notification). No, Later stores the list for later use.
Managing saved lists
Lists live on the Campaigns → Customer Lists page in the left menu. Each list offers Send Campaign (a new campaign with the list), Refresh from Filters (the list is recalculated with the filters it was saved with; the customers in it may change, and people you removed by hand come back if they match the filter) and Delete.
Banned customers are never included in sends, and customers without a phone are skipped for SMS and WhatsApp. The "Exclude customers without marketing consent" switch in the campaign wizard is on by default, so list members without marketing consent receive nothing.
