Changing an appointment's time on the calendar and conflict warnings

Drag an appointment to change its time or its staff member; decide whether an SMS goes to the customer and handle conflict and multi-service warnings.

Last updated: 3 Ağustos 2026

To change the time of an appointment on the calendar, hold the card with the mouse and drag and drop it onto the time you want or onto another staff member's column. By pulling the bottom edge of the card you can also lengthen or shorten the session duration.

Customer notification confirmation

The moment an appointment's slot or duration changes, a confirmation window opens and asks whether an SMS should be sent to the customer. You have three options:

  • Yes, notify: the change is saved and an SMS with the new time is sent to the customer.

  • No, don't notify: the change is saved but no SMS is sent.

  • Cancel: the action is undone and the appointment returns to its old slot.

Time conflict warning

If the same staff member or resource already has another record at the time you move to, the system gives a Time Conflict warning. If you knowingly accept the conflict use Save Anyway; if you change your mind use Cancel.

Choosing the scope on multi-service appointments

If the same visit contains more than one service and you move the appointment to another day, the system asks whether you want to move only that service or the whole visit. For example, if a haircut and a colour sit on the same sales card and you only want to postpone the colour, you tick the "Move only this service" option.

Staff leave and blocked hours appear as separate blocks on the calendar; you get a conflict warning when you move an appointment onto those blocks.

To change an appointment's status (arrived, completed, no-show) do not drag the card — click it and use the detail window that opens.
