Product stock report: stock on hand, movements and critical level

See how many units of each product you have left, the ins and outs within the period, units sold and stock value. Flag products running low with the critical stock threshold.

The product stock report answers two questions at once: what do I have right now and what moved during the period I chose. Use it when deciding on orders and when doing a stock count.

Opening the report

Open Reports from the left menu.
Pick “Product Stock Report” from the report list.
Set the range over which ins and outs are counted with “Movement Period”.

“Current Stock” is independent of the period — it always shows what you have today. The period only affects the Period In, Period Out, Units Sold and Sales Revenue columns.

Filters

Category: lists only a specific product category.
Stock Status: filters by stock level (for example only those at critical level).
Critical Stock Threshold: products below this number count as critical. You set the threshold yourself — 3, 5 or 10 depending on your business.
Search Product: search by product name.
Sorting: by product name, A-Z or Z-A.

What the columns mean

Current Stock: units on hand as of today.
Status: where the stock level sits against the critical threshold.
Sale Price: the product's defined sale price.
Stock Value: the monetary value of the units on hand.
Period In: units that entered stock during the period (purchase, return, correction).
Period Out: units that left stock during the period.
Units Sold: units sold to customers during the period.
Sales Revenue: the amount earned from those sales.
Last Movement: when the product last moved.

Stock figures only reflect product sales made through Piyzi and the stock movements you entered. Products sold by hand at the till and never entered into the system are not deducted — check this first if a stock count does not match.
