Working hours, holidays and appointment settings

Define your weekly working hours and breaks, enter holiday dates, and set the booking slot period and cancellation rules.

Last updated: 3 Ağustos 2026

The Appointment Settings heading in the Business section consists of six pages: Working Hours, Holidays, Appointment Settings, Resources, Risk Management and Branding.

Working hours

  • Open/closed status and a start–end time are defined separately for each of the seven days of the week; closed days are shown with a "Closed" badge.

  • With "Add Break" you can define one or more breaks during the day (a lunch break, for example). No appointment slots are generated during break hours.

  • After you set up one day the system asks "Would you like to copy these working hours to all days?" — you can fill in the whole week with a single click.

If you need different hours per staff member, use Staff → Staff Settings → Shift; the hours defined there override the business hours.

Holidays

You enter public holidays or closure periods with a start–end date and a mandatory description. On holiday dates your online booking page does not open any slots.

Appointment settings

  • Appointment Slot Period: the slot interval on the calendar (chosen between 5 and 120 minutes).

  • First Day of the Week: the day the calendar views start on.

  • Automatic approval: whether appointments arriving online and those created by staff are approved automatically.

  • Hide prices / durations: whether price and duration information is shown on the online booking page.

  • Only Members With a Package Can Book: opens online booking only to customers with an active package.

  • Cancellation Window (Hours): determines how far in advance a cancellation must be made for the package credit to be refunded; if you enter 0 the rule is switched off.

  • Automatic completion: past appointments are set to "Completed" automatically after the number of hours you choose.

The Appointment Settings page has no Save button — the change you make is saved automatically after a short delay and a confirmation message appears.

Resources

This is where you define physical resources such as rooms, halls, chairs or devices. Resources can be followed as a separate column on the calendar and are assigned to the service line when you create an appointment.

Online booking rules (risk management)

On this page you restrict customers from booking online based on their past behaviour: requiring approval, blocking booking, or asking for a deposit. With the whitelist and the blacklist you can define exceptions for individual customers.

The timing of appointment reminder messages is not defined on this page but in the Automations module.
