Defining products, stock movements and suppliers
Define the products you sell with their barcodes, record stock in, stock out and correction movements, and manage your supplier details.

The Product Definitions page in the Business section consists of three parts: Products, Categories and Suppliers.
Adding a product
You can pick from the ready-made product catalogue or add your own with "Define New Product". The custom product form asks for a title, category, description, barcode and active status. On the second step you set the product's sale price and its opening stock quantity.
If you enter a barcode you can search for the product by barcode both in the definition list and on the sales screen — your checkout speed increases noticeably.
Stock movements
From the Actions menu on the product detail, Stock Operations lets you record three kinds of movement:
Stock In: adds products received from a supplier to stock.
Stock Out: removes items from stock for reasons such as wastage, samples or returns.
Stock Correction: you write the current stock quantity directly after a count; the system works out the difference itself.
The table on the product detail lists every movement with its quantity, unit price, discount, date and note. Stock goes down automatically when you make a sale and is restored when the sale is deleted.
Categories and suppliers
Product categories are defined with a title, a description and an active status.
A supplier record has three tabs: basic details, company details and invoicing details (legal title, tax office, tax number, address details).
The name, barcode and description of products that come from the ready-made catalogue cannot be edited; the price and stock information belongs to you.
