Online package sales: let customers buy packages on your website

Put a package template on sale online; your customer picks the package on your business website, signs in with their phone and pays by card. The package is added to their account once the payment is confirmed.

Last updated: 8 November 2026

With online package sales your customer picks the package themselves on the Packages page of your business website, signs in with their phone number and pays by card. The package is added to the customer's account as soon as the payment institution confirms the payment; the customer can book a class or appointment right away.

Requirements

  • Online payments must be on: pilot access, a connected Paynkolay account and the Online payments switch in Pi Store (see the Online payments: sending a payment link for a receivable article).

  • Online page address: the packages are listed on your business's online page.

  • A package template: only packages sold from a template can be sold online. The template's price must be above 0 and include VAT.

Putting a package on sale online

  1. 1
    Open the template

On Packages → Package Templates in the left menu, choose Edit in the template's action menu, or create a new template.

  2. 2
Fill in the online sale section

At the bottom of the window, turn on Sell online on my website. If you like, turn on Once per person and enter the Order on website (smaller numbers come first). Save.

  • The switch cannot be turned on for a template priced at 0 or with “VAT included” off; the window shows the reason.

  • A template on sale online shows the “Sold online” badge in the list.

  • To stop selling, turn the switch off or archive the template; the package disappears from your website. Packages already sold are not affected.

  • A template created with Copy starts off the online sale.

Once per person is meant for trial packages. A customer who already has a non-cancelled package from this template (including one sold by staff) cannot buy the same package on your website again.

How does the customer buy it?

  1. 1
    Picks the package

On your business website the customer opens the Packages page from the Online services → Buy a package menu. Every package shows its content (service and number of sessions), validity and the price including VAT. The page can also be reached from the Buy a package button in My account → My packages, from the “no suitable package” notice in the class schedule and from the “you have no usable package” notice in the booking wizard (where only the packages covering that service are listed).

  2. 2
    Signs in and accepts

To buy, the customer signs in with their phone number (SMS code or password). New customers can buy too; their record is created when they sign in. They accept the pre-information form and the distance service agreement. A parent switches profile in My account to buy for a linked customer; the package is added to that person.

  3. 3
    Pays by card

On the secure payment page the customer pays by card in a single charge with 3D Secure. The payment page is valid for 30 minutes. Even if you change the template's price in the meantime, the customer pays the price they saw and gets that package.

  4. 4
    The package is added

The result page says “Your package has been added”; the customer can go on to Book an appointment, My packages, or back to the page they came from (class schedule, booking wizard).

How does the sale look in Piyzi?

  • The package appears in the Package Sales list and on the customer card. The sale date is the moment the payment was confirmed; the end date is the validity period after that.

  • The payment is recorded as collected with the “Online · Paynkolay” method; it cannot be edited or deleted. A package with an online payment cannot be deleted.

  • The staff member on the sale is the business owner; no sales consultant is recorded.

  • In Finance → Online Payments the record shows as “Online package sale”, created by “Customer (via website)”.

  • Your “Package sold” automations run. If you want to send the customer an SMS or WhatsApp message, set it up with that automation; Piyzi does not send SMS from its own account.

  • The business owner gets an “Online package sale” notification. The customer gets a “Your package has been added” notification in their app and on the Notifications screen.

If the package requires a consent form, the sale is not stopped. The owner's notification names the form that needs signing; send it from the customer card.

The business issues the invoice; Piyzi does not issue invoices.

Refunds

Refunds are made from the record's detail in Finance → Online Payments with Refund to card (the owner, or staff with the Can refund online payments permission).

  • A refund is possible only for a package that has not been used at all and has no session reserved for a future date. The package is cancelled the moment the refund is requested and can no longer be used; if the payment institution rejects the refund, the package is reopened.

  • If a session from the package has been used, it cannot be refunded online from Piyzi; agree with the customer on the remaining credits.

  • If a session is reserved, first cancel those appointments or class registrations.

Cases that need review

If the money was taken but the package could not be added (for example, the customer came to own a “once per person” package another way at the same time), the record shows as Needs review and the owner is notified. Check it according to the explanation in the detail and refund to the card.

Troubleshooting

  • The package does not show on the website: online payments are off, the template's online sale switch is off, or the template is archived.

  • There is no “Sell online on my website” section: the online payments pilot has not been opened for your business.

  • The switch cannot be turned on: the price is 0 or “VAT included” is off.

  • The customer sees “This package can be purchased only once per person”: the customer already has a non-cancelled package from this template.

For health professions (dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, etc.) there may be legal restrictions on advertising prices and campaigns online. Check compliance before putting a package on sale online.
