Channel/source report: where do your customers find you?

See which channel new customers came from, which existing customers refer the most people, and the spending per channel. Use it to decide where to put your marketing budget.

Last updated: 9 Ağustos 2026

The channel/source report shows where your new customers heard about your business: Instagram, your shopfront sign, a friend's recommendation, Google… This comes from the channel/source field on the customer's card.

The report can only show the data you entered. If the source field is left blank when adding a customer, that customer does not appear in the breakdown. Make filling in this field a habit when registering new customers.

Opening the report

  1. Open Reports from the left menu.

  2. Pick “Channel/Source Report” from the report list.

  3. Set the range in which customers were registered with “Registration Period”.

The two cards on screen

  • Channel Breakdown: how many customers came from each channel. This is where you see which channel actually brings customers in.

  • Top Referrers: your existing customers who brought in the most new customers by recommending you. Exactly the list you need for a referral scheme or a thank-you gesture.

Table columns

  • Customer · Registration Date: who registered and when.

  • Channel: the channel the customer found you through.

  • Referred By: the customer who recommended you, if they came by referral.

  • Total Spending: that customer's total spending to date. Comparing spending per channel shows you which channel brings not just many customers, but valuable ones.

“Channel Breakdown” gives you customer counts, “Total Spending” gives you their value. A channel that brings a few high-spending customers can be more profitable than one bringing many low-spending ones.
