Facility pricing and pricing rules

The facility's base price is entered on the facility form: a price for each duration with fixed durations, an hourly price with flexible duration. To charge differently on certain days, hours or dates, use the Pricing rules section of the facility detail page. Adding, editing and copying rules needs the “Tesisleri ve kiralama kurallarını yönetebilir” (can manage facilities and rental rules) permission.

Adding a rule

   Add rule

   Click the facility on Facility Rental → Facilities; in Pricing rules, click Add rule.

   Pick the rule type

   Day and time: certain weekdays and hours (evening peak, weekend). Date range: season, holiday period, campaign week; at least one of Start date and End date is required; with both empty, saving shows “The pricing rule is invalid.”

   Pick days and hours

   Select one or more Days; with none selected the rule applies every day. Start time and End time open at 18:00-23:00; a range crossing midnight (22:00-02:00) is allowed.

   Enter the hourly price and save

   Save stays disabled until you enter an Hourly price. The rule is added to the list with a name built from your choices (e.g. Hafta içi 18:00-23:00 — weekdays).

Edit a rule with the pencil and delete it with the bin; deleting does not ask for confirmation.

Which rental does a rule apply to?

With fixed durations the rule is chosen by the rental's start time and applied to the whole duration. A 17:30-19:00 rental does not get an evening rule starting at 18:00; an 18:00-19:30 rental does, charged for 1.5 hours. When a rule applies, the duration's own price is not used; the rule's hourly price is multiplied by the duration (90 min × 2,000 TRY/hour = 3,000 TRY).

With flexible duration the rental is split into 15-minute slices: each slice is charged by its own rule, or by the hourly price if no rule matches, and the result is merged in the summary (e.g. 17:00-18:00 at the hourly price, 18:00-20:00 at the evening price).

If the facility has no rules, the list says “No rules — the facility's own duration prices apply.”

When two rules overlap

A date-range rule beats a day-and-time rule. If two rules of the same type match the same time, the one added first applies. When more than one rule matches, a warning appears in Price preview and when the reservation is saved; the save is not blocked. The line in the preview names the rule that was applied.

Price preview

In the Price preview section of the detail page, pick the Date (today by default), Time (18:00 by default) and Duration, then click Calculate. You see the total, the time slices, each slice's hourly price and the name of the rule applied; if a deposit expectation is set in Rental rules, the expected deposit is shown too. The preview does not add extras; if the duration has no price, “No price is defined for this duration.” appears.

Copying rules to other facilities

When the facility has at least one rule, a Copy rules to: row appears under the list. Click a facility's name to copy to that facility only, or To all facilities to copy to every other facility.

Existing reservations when prices change

A reservation's amount is fixed when it is created; changing the facility's price or rules does not affect existing reservations. When you move a reservation, however, its amount is recalculated at the new time's price.
