How customers rent a facility online

Customers pick a facility from the Online services menu of your public page, find a time and create a reservation or a request. Payment is taken on site.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

With Facility Rental enabled, the Online İşlemler (Online services) menu of your public page gets a Tesis Kirala (Rent a facility) item. Your customer-facing page is in Turkish. Customers pick a facility there, choose a duration and a time and create their reservation or request.

For a facility to appear online

  • Its Open to online booking switch must be on in the facility form (off for a new facility).

  • Your public page must be published (done with the setup in Marketplace → Online Booking).

To pull a facility offline temporarily, don't delete it — just turn off Open to online booking. Staff can still book it internally.

If Hide Prices is on in My Business → Settings → Appointment Settings, prices are hidden on the rental page too (it says “Fiyat tesiste” — price on site) and customers cannot choose extras.

How does a customer rent?

  1. 1
    They pick a facility

The Tesis Kirala page lists facility cards: cover photo (or the facility's colour), name, capacity, “Onay gerekir” (approval required) on facilities that need approval, and the price (the lowest duration price as “…'den” — from … — with fixed durations, “Saatlik …” — hourly — with flexible duration). When at least two categories have facilities, a category strip appears at the top.

  2. 2
    They sign in

A customer who is not signed in sees a Giriş Gerekli (sign-in required) box after clicking a card; with Giriş Yap / Üye Ol (sign in / sign up) they sign in with a code sent to their phone, return to the Tesis Kirala page and pick the facility again. The sign-in page accepts only numbers that are already customers of your business; someone without a customer record must first book an appointment online or be added by you as a customer.

  3. 3
    They pick a duration

In step 1. Süre (duration) the facility's photos show as a strip (a photo enlarges when tapped and can be browsed with arrows; the cover is not repeated here). The customer picks a duration chip and clicks Devam (continue).

  4. 4
    They pick a time

In step 2. Saat (time) they pick the date; only available times are listed. The earliest and furthest limits of Rental rules apply here; holidays, blocked times and the busy hours of the facility's linked resource are not listed.

  5. 5
    They check the summary

Step 3. Özet (summary) shows the facility, date, time, duration and amount. The customer chooses extras (required ones come ticked), enters the party size if the facility has a capacity and can add a note. Your policy text is shown under “İptal ve iade koşulları” (cancellation and refund terms), or a sentence about the cancellation window if you have none.

  6. 6
    They send it

On a facility that needs approval the button is Talep Gönder (send request), otherwise Rezervasyonu Oluştur (create reservation). The result screen shows “Talebiniz alındı” (your request was received) or “Rezervasyonunuz oluşturuldu” (your reservation is created) and the 6-character reservation code. If the time was taken in the meantime, the customer is sent back to the time step.

Approval or instant?

If Online requests need my approval (under Open to online booking in the facility form) is on, the customer's reservation lands as Awaiting approval and holds the slot; otherwise the customer takes the slot directly.

In addition, the Online Booking Rules in My Business → Settings → Risk Management also apply to rentals: a customer on the Blacklist, or whose rules result in Cannot Book, cannot rent online (they see “Online rezervasyon için lütfen işletme ile iletişime geçin.” — please contact the business to book online); a customer whose rules result in Approval Required lands in approval, and previously saved Deposit Required or Full Prepayment thresholds count as approval required too. A customer on the Whitelist is exempt from the rules, but still lands in approval if the facility requires it. Cancellation and no-show counts come from appointments; rentals are not counted.

Requests awaiting approval appear on the Rentals tab of the Pending Approvals panel and on the Awaiting approval tab of Facility Rental → Reservations. A request expires 48 hours after it is made or 2 hours before the start, whichever comes first; every request still gets at least 30 minutes for approval, never past the start time. A request not approved in time is cancelled automatically.

Who gets a message?

The customer gets an SMS with the code saying their request was received or their reservation was created. The business owner also gets an SMS for a new request or online rental; this follows the SMS switch of the When a New Appointment Is Created row in the owner's My Account → Notifications, and nothing is sent while Do Not Disturb is on. These SMS messages are sent with the Piyzi sender name. The When a facility reservation is created trigger of your automations runs as well.

Payment

There is NO online payment. The customer books and you collect on site, using Add payment in the reservation window. The deposit expectation from Rental rules is not shown to the customer.

Customers see and cancel their own bookings

The reservation appears in the customer's Hesabım → Randevularım (My account → My appointments) list on your public page with a Tesis (Facility) badge, showing the code, the amount and your policy text. Within the Customer cancellation window of Rental rules an İptal Et (Cancel) button is shown; after it, the entry says “İptal süresi geçti, lütfen işletmeyi arayın.” (the cancellation window has passed, please call the business). When the customer cancels, the business owner gets an SMS (subject to the notification preference above) and your When a facility reservation is cancelled automation runs. If you had collected money for a rental the customer cancels, it is not treated as refunded and stays as revenue.

Every reservation has a 6-character code (e.g. MJ5RNR). It shows on the customer's entry and in the mobile app; the customer can tell you the code on arrival and you find the reservation by typing the whole code in the search box on Reservations.

Where the rules live

In the Rental rules card at the top of the Facilities page: how soon a reservation can be made, how far ahead customers can book, the cancellation window and the policy text shown to customers (see Rental rules).

If you turn the module off in Pi Store, the online page no longer opens (page not found) and the menu item disappears. Existing reservations are not deleted.
