Creating a new class
Define the class name, instructor, capacity, weekly schedule, allowed packages and cancellation/credit policies step by step.
Last updated: 8 Ağustos 2026
On the Classes screen, open the Actions menu and choose Create Class — a seven-step wizard opens.
- 1Basic Information
Class name, category, level (beginner/intermediate/advanced), description and calendar colour.
- 2Instructor and Resource
The default instructor who will run the classes and an optional room/resource assignment.
- 3Capacity
The maximum number of people who can attend a session and the minimum number needed for the class to run.
- 4Schedule and Timing
Which days of the week the class repeats on, the start date, the session time and its duration.
- 5Allowed Services
Which package or service types can be used to attend this class. If you leave it empty, packages of any service type are accepted; an eligible package or membership is still required to enrol.
- 6Class Policies
Permission to enrol with a package or a subscription, the online enrolment switch, the credit deduction timing, the free cancellation window, and the enrolment and online enrolment cut-off times. The number of cancellation rights is not defined here — it lives on the package.
- 7Summary
You check every choice one last time and create the class.
Credit deduction timing
This decides when the credit is taken from the student's package; there are three options:
When the session starts: the credit is deducted once the class time arrives.
When the session ends: it is deducted when the class finishes (the default).
When attendance is confirmed: it is deducted when the person is marked as attended.
If you want to charge for late cancellations use "When the session starts"; if you want to deduct only from people who actually attended, use "When attendance is confirmed".
A class's credit and cancellation policies can be changed after it is created, but credit deductions already applied to past sessions do not change retroactively.
On mobile, open Classes from the menu and tap Add Class. Mobile does not use the seven-step wizard: everything is on a single scrolling form divided into six sections.
Basic Information: class name (required), category, level, description and calendar colour.
Instructor & Room: the default instructor (required) and an optional room/resource.
Capacity: Maximum Participants (required, 10 by default).
Calendar: class days, start date, optional end date, session time and duration in minutes.
Services (optional): which services may be used to attend the class.
Policies: package/subscription enrolment, auto complete, online enrolment, credit deduction timing and the free cancellation window. The number of cancellation rights is no longer a class setting — it is defined on the package.
The Create Class button at the bottom of the screen finishes the job. Every field on the web wizard exists on mobile too — only the layout differs.
There is no summary step on mobile. The web wizard shows a final "Summary" screen before you create the class; on mobile the class is created the moment you press the button, so check the form yourself first.
The colour is chosen from ten ready-made swatches on mobile. If you want a colour of your own outside that set, create or edit the class in the web panel.
The same screen is used for editing. If you change the schedule (days, time or duration), future scheduled sessions are deleted and regenerated to the new schedule — mobile asks you to confirm this.
